A video spread on the communication sites showing a body said to be of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, and it was found in the desert between Sirte and Al-Jufra, and its views amounted to several million.
We reverse-searched images taken from the video, and we noticed that it was posted on June 7, 2020 through an account on TikTok under the name “Ayed.” The owner of the account stated that this is a puppet for filming a movie, and not a real person.
The same account also posted a video showing the doll in the desert with camera equipment behind it.
Upon closer scrutiny, it became clear that the visible car plate bears the name of Jordan, meaning that the filming location is not in Libya, but in Jordan.
It is noteworthy that Gaddafi was killed by the opposition on October 20, 2011, and his body was buried in a secret location in the Libyan desert.
