Kim Kardashian received some of the highest praise one could imagine after her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live… from comedy legends Chris Rock and Amy Schumer.

The 41-year-old reality star headed to the after party at the trendy Manhattan hotspot Zero Bond, though one particular SNL cast member wasn’t there: her current boyfriend Pete Davidson.

Kardashian admitted during an April interview she felt a ‘zing’ when kissing Davidson during a skit that night, though he was nowhere to be found at the after-party, while Kim fielded compliments on her comedy from a number of celebs including Gayle King, Colin Jost and more.

Paparazzi are seen asking guests how Kim did, as they arrived at Zero Bond, with one asking Amy Schumer, who said she did ‘amazing.’

Other celebs such as Blake Griffin and Chris Rock arrive, while SNL cast member Punkie Johnson says on the mic that Kim, ‘killed it tonight.’

Kim chats with Weekend Update co-host Colin Jost, asking if he thinks it went well, and he said, ‘I thought it went great.’

He added that it’s funny when doing a live show that there is always, ‘one little thing you remember, oh I wanted that one little thing different, but you can’t change. I thought the whole thing was fantastic.’

Kim adds in confession that, ‘The fact that people that I respect are saying that it was good, that just makes me so happy.’

Colin says she may want to do it again, as Kim says, ‘I hope I’m invited back,’ but Colin insists, ‘You will.’

Chris Rock – who rose to fame as an SNL cast member from 1990 to 1993 – said, ‘You were great. From the opening monologue it was like I am in control.’

‘It was like funny comedy. Like an actress or a comedian,’ Rock added, as Kim turned directly to the camera and said, ‘Did you hear that? I want to make sure you got what he said. I was funny!’

Kim added in confession, ‘Oh my God. Chris Rock made my life. Like, I’m not funny, so the fact that he gave me this crazy compliment… I think he’s like one of the all-time funniest people on the planet, so I’m just like dying inside.’

Rock added that when athletes come on and host, ‘You just hope they can get through it. You were really good tonight,’ as Kim tells him she’s honored.’

Kim finds a private table and goes off to chat with Amy Schumer, who helped write her monologue for the show.

‘It was really so great. I can’t get over it. Like it’s really special,’ Schumer told Kim. ‘It felt like someone not just conquering their fears, but like kicking the f***ing door down.’

Kim appeared on the Dear Media podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat earlier in April, where she revealed he was the one SNL cast member who did not sign off to be filmed for The Kardashians.

She added she didn’t see him all week at rehearsals and they did one dress rehearsal on the day of the show, before revealing what she felt on the stage kiss.

‘And then when we kiss, I was just like, really? But yeah, it was a stage kiss, but it was like still like a little zing, you know? It wasn’t anything like a super crazy feeling,’ she said.
