The tail does not appear to have been damaged by an enemy strike, but for the most part it appears to have failed in maintenance.
The coaxial rotor Kamov system showed its worth. If the same thing happened to the Mi 28, it would not be able to fly.
The Kamov coaxial rotor system is an attack helicopter system used in Russia. This system is characterized by the presence of two propellers rotating in opposite directions (axes) on the aircraft, which is called “axial rotor” technology. The two axial propellers are used to generate lift and control the aircraft.
The Kamov’s coaxial rotor system is known for its powerful attack capabilities and ability to withstand harsh combat conditions. It uses advanced navigation, control and weapons technologies, and is characterized by high speed and flexibility of movement and the ability to rotate faster than conventional helicopters.

One of the most famous helicopters in the Kamov series is the Kamov Ka-50 “Black Shark”, which is a highly capable attack helicopter. It was designed to carry out attack missions on land and air targets, with high endurance and powerful armament.
It should be noted that the Kamov coaxial rotor system is constantly being developed and improved to meet changing military requirements and to improve helicopter performance in combat and civilian applications.
