The commander of the Space Division of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajzadeh, said that the Iranian hypersonic missile “Fatah” may reach a range of 2,000 kilometers in the future.
Speaking during a ceremony at the University of Mazandaran on June 21, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that the next version of the missile may have a range of 2,000 km, compared to its current range of 1,400 km.
The missile can travel at up to Mach 15, 15 times the speed of sound. It is also able to penetrate and destroy all air defense systems due to its high maneuverability and speed.
