Russian Wagner forces declare war on the Russian Ministry of Defense (video)

In an audio recording published a short while ago, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Russian Wagner Group, declared war on the Russian Ministry of Defense and threatened to liquidate every Russian soldier, guard point, or fighter that would stand in the way of his forces.

Prigogi’s full letter reads:

“Declaration of war on the Russian Ministry of Defense: The PMC Wagner Council of Leaders has made a decision: the evil brought on by the country’s military leadership must be stopped.

They neglect the lives of soldiers. They forgot the word “justice” and we will bring it back.

Those who destroyed our men today, who destroyed tens of thousands of lives of Russian soldiers, will be punished.

I ask: no one resists. Whoever tries to resist we will consider a threat and destroy them immediately, including any checkpoints in our path. And any flying we see above our heads.

I ask everyone to remain calm, not to succumb to provocations, and to stay in their homes. Ideally, don’t get in our way.

After we finish what we started, we will return to the front line to protect our motherland.

The presidential power, the government, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rosgvardia and other departments will continue to function as before.

We will deal with those who destroy the Russian soldiers. We will return to the front line.

Justice will be restored in the army. And then, justice for all of Russia.”
