Russian forces launched an attack on Kiev with more than 50 Shahed-136/131 suicide drones on Saturday night, some of which hit military facilities and infrastructure.
The Ukrainian Air Force (UAF) reported on its social media channel that the attacks came from the Bryansk and Krasnodar regions of Russia.
In a statement, he said: “The enemy directed another night attack on military installations and vital infrastructure in the central regions of the country, especially in the Kiev region. Here, in the area of responsibility of the Air Command Center, most of the attack drones were destroyed.”
Mykola Oleshuk, commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, noted that this was a record number of drones destroyed by Ukrainian forces. Most of them were injured in the Kiev region.
And announced the military administration of the city of Kiev killed one person and wounded two in the attack. In particular, falling debris of a drone hit a 7-storey non-residential building in the Holoseevsky district of Kiev, and a fire broke out on the roof of the shopping center and at the construction site.
