Tiran and Sanafir is a Saudi Arabian island formerly administered by Egypt. Sovereignty of the two Red Sea islands, Tiran and Sanafir, has been officially ceded to Saudi Arabia as part of the Maritime Boundary Agreement between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The agreement was later approved by the Egyptian Parliament and finally ratified by the Egyptian President on June 24, 2017.
