Major changes in the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the withdrawal of Wagner forces from Russia and Ukraine towards Africa

According to Russian state media, major changes have been agreed upon in the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense including changes in the current Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu and the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Valery Gerasimov in order to stop the Wagner PMC’s march towards the capital, Moscow.

These negotiations reportedly included assured “Wagner Group security”.

These negotiations also reportedly included an “alert” that the majority of Wagner’s private military forces would be redeployed from Russia and Ukraine to Africa.
