The Moroccan Armed Forces have started operating the PULS Multi-Barrel Missile System (MLRS) produced by the Israeli company Elbit Systems.
The Moroccan PULS system uses Czech TATRA 6X6 military trucks as a carrier platform.
As is well known, PULS can use several vehicle platforms according to the user’s wishes.
Apart from Morocco, PULS systems have recently been ordered by Denmark and the Netherlands. Other countries such as Spain, Germany and Thailand have shown interest in acquiring PULS.
The advantage of PULS is that it is a flexible platform that is also compatible with native or third-party products and C4I systems according to the user’s wishes.
PULS carries an advanced self-launching system, simplifying mission management and ensuring consistent and effective fire support in all weather conditions.
Unlike conventional rocket artillery systems, PULS can fire different types of ammunition at different distances from the same location.
The PULS multipurpose launch system has two pods, each of which is designed for a specific type of missile.
These are Accular 122 mm (18 missiles) with a range of up to 35 km, Accular 160 mm (10 missiles) with a range of up to 40 km.
In addition to EXTRA missiles (4 missiles) with a range of up to 150 km, and Predator Hawk missiles (2 missiles) with a range of up to 300 km.
PULS are capable of accurately and effectively blocking various strategic enemy targets at all distances.
