The visual evidence appears to align with images of these unmanned aerial vehicles, which have attacked Russia before.
The UJ-22 drone has a range of 800-1000 km. The drone is equipped with an autopilot system that allows it to operate without a GPS signal which is useful for evading enemy electronic countermeasures.
This feature allows the drone to operate in a variety of conditions, including severe weather and electronic warfare scenarios.
Sources declared that the UJ-22 can be armed with different free-fall bombs or four 82 mm mortar mines. The drone can also carry up to six PG-7VMs designed on the basis of the RPG-7 anti-tank missiles.
The UJ-22 also accommodates the UJ-31 Zlyva detachable ammunition under the fuselage.
The drone can accommodate a total payload of 20kg and is equipped with the ability to launch its payload at predetermined coordinates.
The system’s accuracy is impressive and it achieved a margin of error of less than 10 metres.
