The Russian army captured a Ukrainian Leopard 2 tank, but it was badly damaged.

In one of the areas of the front, where there was a fierce conflict a few days ago, there was an interesting incident involving the Leopard 2 tank. Reportedly, an attempt was made to penetrate the positions of the Russian forces, but it ended with the tank being detained in Russian-controlled territory.

The Russian army took control of a Leopard 2 tank and tried to move it to a safe place for later study. According to Denis Pushlin, the leader of the pro-Russian separatists in the Donetsk region, Russian tanks moved to the front line of the front to ensure the safety of the captured vehicles. At the same time, two tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) appeared. Instead of targeting our equipment, the crews of these tanks concentrated their efforts on destroying the Leopard 2 tank. Apparently, it was more important for them that this tank not fall into the hands of the enemy, even if it cost the destruction of their armored vehicles.

Despite this statement by Pushlin, no evidence of the loss of the APU of the Leopard 2 tank was provided. The Russian Ministry of Defense also did not comment on this matter either.
