The first appearance of the TOR-M2K air defense system in Algeria

The “Fajr 2023” military exercise, which was organized on June 25 in the state of Djelfa, received for the first time Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, along with Chief of Staff Said Chanegriha.

During this exercise, new equipment was deployed, in particular the TOR MK2 anti-aircraft defense system was obviously used for the first time. The existence of the system has been known for a few years but has never been photographed before.

The Wing Loong 2 attack drone was also revealed for the first time, which was filmed engaging a target with great precision.

In addition, Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Said Chanegriha conducted a military review aboard the last Algerian-manufactured MRAP vehicle, the Hafeet MK2, built in Khenchela.
